About Me
Located in the great Seattle area, I work as a System Engineer for a fantastic "software as a service" company ... been working in the field for seven years now (I'm sure this blurb will get out of date fairly quickly.) I'm also a strong advocate of providing as much technical support as I can! My mission statement has always been; regular people should not have to pay an arm and a leg for basic level computer support. With this site I not only post about my random thoughts, but I also try to provide as much helpful technical support information as possible: important security updates, recommended free software, quick tips to make things easier! One of my goals is to start my own technical support side business ... providing remote support or in house.
If you would like to learn more about my technical support services send an email to info (at) atebymonsters (dot) com
I've also been lucky enough to contribute an op-ed article for a local online technology news site; TechFlash. Feel free and check out the piece; A case against the cloud.
You'll notice to the right the various social networks I'm a member of ... you'll be able to get the standard information from there.
Gaming
Besides dedicating my life to IT and technology in general, I do enjoy playing some games! You can find me online on Xbox Live, the Playstation Network, as well as Valve's Steam:
Xbox Live I M3THOD I
Playstation Network l_m3thod_l
Steam radixus
What may look like lines for my Xbox Live gamertag are actually upper-case i's.
What may look like lines for my PSN gamertag are actually lower-case L's.
With services having over 10 million users it's pretty hard to find a relatively generic username :P, and its a pain to change them after so many years.
What I'm currently playing:
Xbox 360: Assassins Creed II
Playstation 3: God of War Collectors Edition
DS: Tetris
PSP: Nothing
Wii: Nothing
PC: Team Fortress 2, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands
iPhone: Zombieville USA, Flight Control, Minigore
If you send me a friend request please put something in the body of the message so I know who you are at least. I generally ignore blank requests, for obvious reasons :)
